With more than a decade of hands-on industry experience behind our team, Hush Tech was created to raise the standard for American-made suppressors. Before launching Hush Tech, our leadership worked alongside established firearm manufacturers and machining operations, gaining firsthand knowledge of what works — and what doesn’t — in suppressor design and production.
Today, Hush Tech remains a family-owned and operated company based in the United States. Every suppressor we produce is manufactured in-house, allowing us to control every stage of the process — from raw material selection to final inspection. That level of oversight ensures consistent quality, tight tolerances, and accountability in every unit that leaves our facility.

Founder Bio
Rich Lenardson didn’t start Hush Tech Suppressors from a boardroom. He started it on the shop floor—covered in metal shavings, running machines, and fixing problems the hard way. He’s a hands-on builder who’s spent his life making things that last, and he brings that same no-nonsense mindset to every suppressor that leaves the Hush Tech shop.
Rich founded Hush Tech with a simple promise: quiet, tough, dependable suppressors at a price working people can actually afford. No fancy buzzwords. No inflated price tags. Just solid gear built the right way.
He designs suppressors like a guy who’s broken plenty of tools and learned what survives real use: strong welds, smart materials, clean internals—parts that don’t quit when the barrel gets hot and the round count climbs. If it won’t hold up for the folks who shoot in the rain, in the cold, after a long shift, or out on the back forty, it doesn’t get the Hush Tech name.
